Lt. Gov. Josh Green joined the National Health Corps after medical school and started his life’s work as a family physician and ER doctor in rural hospitals and clinics on the Big Island. In 2009 Josh was named “Hawaii Physician of the Year. He served in the HI State House of Representatives from 2004 to 2008, then in the HI State Senate until 2018 when he was elected to the office of Lt. Governor. Josh is married to Jaime Ushiroda, They have two children, 12-year-old Maia and 8-year-old Sam.
Julie Arigo began her career at Waikiki Parc Hotel in 1994. Prior to becoming the GM in 2012, she held various managerial roles. In 2018, she became the GM at the Halepuna Waikiki. Julie was named Hotel Management magazine’s “Top 25 General Managers to Watch” while the Organization of Women Leaders named her the “Outstanding Woman of the Year-Private Sector” in 2013. And, Pacific Edge’s “Leading Ladies of Hospitality” issue named her one of the top executives in Oahu’s hotel industry.
Toby Tamaye is president of AT Marketing, a Honolulu-based firm experienced in public relations, events, and social–media marketing. His company organizes the annual Waikiki SPAM JAM, Noodle Festival and Rice Festival. For the past two decades, Toby has been working with various restaurants in Hawaii on their marketing programs; and has assisted with opening more than 35 new restaurants. Currently, he is helping restaurants pivot their services and how to market them in this pandemic. Toby is known in Hawaii social media as an “influencers influencer”.
