An author, reporter, producer, and mom who will be speaking to us about her book:
“Little Angel and How the Adventure Can Apply to Our Own”

Malia Zimmerman

Malia Zimmerman is a woman of enormous talent! She is the editor and co-founder of Hawaii Reporter. She has worked as a consultant and contributor to several dozen media outlets including ABC 20/20, FOX News, MSNBC, the Wall Street Journal, UPI, and the Washington Times.

Malia Zimmerman is also a children’s book author, songwriter, and video editor. Born and raised in Kailua on Oahu, Malia is an avid Hawaiian outrigger canoe paddler, Dragon Boat paddler, and surfer.

She is the proud mom of one son, Michael, and the puppy parent to Liko and Kai, all who appear in her book, The Little Angel. In the story, this little angel does not always fly straight, sing on key, or land without crashing, but she has determination, optimism, and perseverance.

Changing careers can have bumps, send us on detours, and maybe even hit a wall, but with determination and perseverance, a new path and adventure awaits!

Malia will share with us about her book, The Little Angel, and inspire us through her book and her wisdom gained over the years of her adventures. Inside each of us is a “Little Angel.”
